I. Specialities;
     1. Three programs for masters,education:Theories of Marxism,Ideological and Political Education,and Chinese and Foreign Political Systems.
     2. Four four-year programs for undergraduates:Socia Work,Ideological and Political Education,Politics and Administrations,and Applied Psychology.
    3. One three-year program for undergraduates:Political Education.
        In addition,we undertake lessons to all the other majors of our university on public courses ideological and political theories,educational psychology,psychological consultation..
II. Teachers and Students:
    1. Teachers:We have a working group of 43 members,among whom 36are teachers.As far as their academic ranks are concerned,one is a professor,20 are associate professors,17 are lecturers,and 3 are assistants.As far as their educational backgrounds are concerned,one is studying for doctoral drgree,12 have master’s degrees,and 11 are studying for master’s degrees.
    2. Students:There are nows 205 students studying undergraduate courses in our department.
III. Research Work:
The course of Ideological and Political Theories is chosen to be a province-level key course to be a province-level key course.Teachers of our department have taken or are taking charge of 2 province-level researches,have participated or are participating in 2 state-level researches,and have published 101 research papers in the past three years.
